Salary:                                              $23.00/hr
Overtime:                                       $34.50/hr (As per BC Provincial Standards- for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Observed Holidays:                       As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 stat holidays/yr

Experience:                                     7 months to less than 1 year of experience required

Ability to Supervise:                      3-4 people

Job Duties:

• Ensure the produce department is properly staffed and trained
• Order and manage inventory of fresh produce
• Keep shelves and displays organized and fully stocked
• Assist with scheduling staff to ensure all shifts are covered;
• Supervise staff performance; assign duties; explain responsibilities; and workstations when necessary;
• Resolve complaints, handle conflicts, and professionally interact with a variety of stakeholders such as upper management, employees, and customers;
• Monitor quality of produce and ensure freshness
• Monitor department sales and profits and adjust strategies accordingly
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
